How POPULAR is ANGRY BIRDS?

A FEW PRODUCTS INSPIRED BY ANGRY BIRDS

Character

Angry Birds is a strategy puzzle video game developed by Finnish computer game developer Rovio Mobile. Inspired primarily by a sketch of stylized wingless birds, the game was first developed for Apple's iOS on December 2009. Since that time, over 12 million copies of the game have been purchased from Apple's App Store, which has prompted the company to design versions for other touchscreen-based smartphones, such as those using the Android operating system, among others.
In the game, players use a slingshot to launch birds at pigs stationed on or within various structures, with the intent of destroying all the pigs on the playing field. As players advance through the game, new birds appear, some with special abilities that can be activated by the player. Rovio Mobile has supported Angry Birds with numerous free updates that add additional game content, and the company has even released stand-alone holiday and promotional versions of the game. The game is also available on webOS (hp) app store.
Angry Birds has been praised for its successful combination of addictive gameplay, comical style, and low price. Its popularity led to versions of Angry Birds being created for personal computers and gaming consoles, a market for merchandise featuring its characters and even long-term plans for a feature film or television series. With a combined 700 million downloads across all platforms and including both regular and special editions, the game has been called "one of the most mainstream games out right now","one of the great runaway hits of 2010", and "the largest mobile app success the world has seen so far".

ARTIST A DAY

A very talented Japanese artist who uses trash like items such as discarded plastic utensils, toys, and tibitds to create beautiful animal sculptures. Some of her plastic artwork measures from 18 inches to over eight feet in length and can contain up to 500 pieces of junk. Her artworkis just beyond beautiful and the fact that she only uses used and discarded items to make such a beautiful pieces is just amazing. The way she fits objects together and uses them to arrange her sculptures is something I have not seen before and I believe she will be making alot of people interested in her in the years to come.

ABOUT ME

Hello world...or maybe just El Camino Art 141. My name is Reggie Walker (the Government calls me Reginald). Okay, so I am 26 years old going on 21 and trying to forever hold on my youth, LOL. I'm a major sneaker collector AKA SNEAKERHEAD, and my collection ranges from about 200+ sneakers. I graduated from Torrance High School and actually graduated a couple years ago from here (El Camino) in Business and Economics. As time progressed, I was quickly losing interest in that field. I took a liking into photography and have since been doing a little bit of free lancing and now want to see if I can get a understanding of the Digital Arts programs. Weather this is a fad or a passion, I do hope it takes me somewhere. Thanks for reading and enjoy the semester with me
